From the 4 July 1926 edition of the New York Times

"Wallace A. Swezey, 12 years old, of Park Avenue, Huntington, L. I., was killed yesterday when an automobile driven by his cousin, Clarence Swezey, also of Huntington, crashed into a telephone pole on the Huntington-Greenlawn Road, near Huntington. His neck was broken. Two other boys in the car, Leo Mercier, 9 years old, and Milton Pfiedier, 8 years old, also of Huntington, were cut and bruised and were removed to the Huntington Hospital. The driver of the car said that he lost control when the three smaller boys began to play in the automobile."
